About the Role
At Avaron, you get the security of permanent employment combined with the variety of working at different customers. We place specialists across everything from tech, IT and industry to project management and business support – and whatever the assignment, you have a consultant manager who is there for you and your development. About the Role You will work with safety-critical, real-time software that sits close to the core of the vehicle and has a direct impact on performance, drivability, and quality. In this role, you help shape transmission management systems for both ICE and BEV products in a modern automotive environment where software, control strategy, and vehicle behavior are tightly connected. You will be involved across the full development lifecycle, from concept work and requirements to implementation, testing, verification, and documentation. The role combines hands-on embedded development with system thinking and gives you the opportunity to contribute to robust technical solutions in a complex product environment. It is a strong opportunity if you want to work close to the product and influence functions that are central to the driving experience. Job DescriptionYou develop and maintain control strategies and software functions for transmission management systems. You implement gear shifting functionality for both ICE and BEV applications. You write and refine requirements, turn them into implementation, and follow through with testing and verification. You work mainly in C and also use Matlab/Simulink as part of the development flow. You test and validate software through unit tests, SIL, and vehicle-level testing. You collaborate with engineers across disciplines to deliver safe, stable, and high-quality solutions. You contribute to documentation that supports development, verification, and long-term maintainability. RequirementsMaster’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a similar field
