Please note the audition repertoire must be performed on an instrument with orchestral tuning.
Auditions and application period:
The auditions will be held at the Helsinki Music Centre on October 22 and 23, 2026 from 9.00 onwards.
The deadline for applications is 23.59 Finnish time on August 30, 2026.
Preliminary selection:
Applicants will be selected for audition on the basis of their application documents and the video recording.
Applications must be accompanied by a CV which includes all relevant information about the applicant’s work experience. Please include detailed information of each orchestra, vacancy, type and duration of the employment as well as your education and other information relevant to the success of the application. Please be specific!
Please include a video link to any recent double bass performance of yours to the application (not obligatory but recommended).

The job-specific monthly salary for the position is €3.932,61 (with 5-year professional orchestra experience supplement €4.108,65). There is also dress and instrument allowance.
