Job Description

As part of the Central Operations Technology Support (COTS) team within Alternative Investments, individuals will be responsible for providing application support to internal business users and will be involved with projects related to quality control enhancements. Application support primarily revolves around the core accounting system, Advent Geneva, as well as various other supporting systems. As a member of COTS, individuals will be expected to communicate and work with application users, vendors, and internal developers to resolve more difficult and complex issues. Project work will require individuals to work with other members across different departments and offices at US Bank. Applicants will be expected to have a strong accounting background to efficiently troubleshoot issues in relation to fund accounting as well as strong communication skills to effectively work with others across diverse backgrounds.

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a business-related field, or equivalent work experience

Two to five years of related experience, preferably in portfolio/partnership accounting

Preferred Skills/Experience:

Thorough knowledge in accounting, reporting, and analysis

Ability to identify and resolve/escalate complex problems with minimal guidance

Ability to manage multiple tasks/projects and deadlines simultaneously

Effective interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills

Proficient computer navigation skills using a variety of software packages including Microsoft Office applications

The role offers a hybrid/flexible schedule, which means there's an in-office expectation of 3 or more days per week and the flexibility to work outside the office location for the other days.
