Lead Developer

About the role

We are looking for a Lead Developer to take a central role in driving the development and delivery of Pricing Engine Finland initiative. In this role, you will guide a team of skilled developers, acting as both mentor and technical lead. You'll collaborate closely with key stakeholders including the Product Owner, Tribe Architect, IT Delivery Manager and Business Analysts. Together, you'll ensure that our solutions are aligned with If's architectural principles and long-term strategy.

You will:

Lead the technical delivery of Pricing Engine Finland initiative, ensuring design, development, and maintenance of stable and secure solution

Translate business requirements into efficient technical solutions

Act as a bridge between business experts, technical developers in Finland, Norway and India, and architectural teams

Ensure consistent coding standards, version control, security and documentation practices

Mentor and guide developers, promoting learning and adherence to Agile and DevOps principles. Drive adoption of modern engineering practices, including CI/CD, automated testing, and monitoring

Drive modernization activities such as API enablement for integration between cloud-based and mainframe systems

Ensure optimal usage and cost management of Azure resources
