Senior Software Engineer
About this role
As a Senior Software Engineer at Element Logic, you will play a key role in shaping and further developing the technical platform that underpins our entire product portfolio. You will work with complex challenges and take active ownership of the design, architecture, development, and long-term maintenance of core software components.
You will be part of the Common Platform Team, which delivers critical shared solutions such as identity and access management, logging, and monitoring. Your work sets the direction for how product teams operate and gives you significant influence over quality, scalability, and the overall technical direction across the R&D organization.
In this role, you combine hands-on development with technical leadership. You act as a technical sparring partner, set standards for architecture and development practices, and actively contribute to strategic technology decisions. At the same time, you collaborate closely with architects, product teams, customers, and partners—and represent R&D in technical discussions where professional credibility and trust are essential.
Responsibilities
- Lead analysis, design, development, and maintenance of software products and platform components
- Contribute to architectural decisions and ensure technical consistency, quality, and scalability
- Develop and maintain shared software libraries, frameworks, and platform tools across the organization
- Drive improvements in development practices, processes, tools, and quality standards within R&D
- Collaborate closely with solution architects and cross-functional teams across locations
- Share expertise through technical guidance, mentoring, and training of internal and external stakeholders
- Represent R&D in customer cases and provide technical advice on integration, troubleshooting, and optimal product usage
- Evaluate new technologies and contribute to the strategic evolution of the product and platform landscape
