We are looking for a Manager for our product / technology development Single Cylinder Engine (SCE)testing team. The position is permanent and it located in the Wärtsilä Sustainable Technology Hub in Vaasa, Finland.

Your role and responsibilities:

In this position, you are working in the front end of Wärtsilä's engine and technology development. We are offering you the possibility to participate in the development of future engines and technologies, and to contribute to the accelerating realization of decarbonization objectives as a part of a skilled test team.

As a Manager, your work will mainly focus on these responsibilities: Take care of the superior tasks and responsibilities including strong safety focus

Plan and manage the technology and product development focused SCE testing activities and lead the people

Maintain and develop the team's know-how, competence and way of working

Develop and implement the operational-level action plan

Report the progress and task status of the activities

Ensure the quality
