Responsibilities

• As a Mainframe Developer, you will work on core banking platforms in long‑term client engagements, contributing to systems that are central to the daily operations of major Nordic banks. You will collaborate with skilled colleagues across Finland and the Nordics, focusing on reliability, quality and continuous improvement. • Develop, maintain and enhance applications using COBOL and DB2 in IBM Mainframe environments
• Work on core banking platforms supporting business‑critical processes
• Participate in analysis, design, development and testing across the application lifecycle
• Collaborate with Nordic and international teams in long‑term client engagements
• Contribute to code reviews and ensure solutions follow best practices
• Support stable operations while taking part in gradual modernization initiatives

• Qualification

Requirements

• Several years of hands‑on experience in Mainframe development
• Experience working in long‑term client engagements, preferably in banking or financial services
• Ability to work permanently in Finland
