Manager, Accounting Statutory Reporting

Responsibilities

  • Lead the preparation and filing of annual statutory financial statements in compliance with local accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Identify and reconcile differences between US GAAP and local GAAP, ensuring accurate financial reporting across jurisdictions.
  • Review supporting documentation for key account balances, including debt, intercompany transactions, investments, and intangibles.
  • Coordinate audit requests and act as the primary liaison with external auditors and internal stakeholders.
  • Determine required disclosures based on a deep understanding of business operations and local statutory requirements.
  • Manage the external audit process, ensuring timely progress and resolution of audit queries.
  • Collaborate with internal audit, tax, and treasury teams to ensure alignment with local compliance obligations.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the statutory reporting process and internal controls.
  • Assess current processes against local accounting requirements to identify gaps and implement improvements.
  • Qualifications & Experience
