Role Responsibilities
Perform thorough cosmetic inspections to identify detailing needs and ensure vehicles meet CarMax quality standards
Repair and replace small components, ensuring functionality and visual appeal
Execute paint retouching, post-paint finishing, waxing, and buffing to CarMax quality standards
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment while following CarMax protocols
Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deliver exceptional customer satisfaction
Follow CarMax Environmental, Health and Safety (EH&S) requirements and maintain a clean and orderly work area.
Required Qualifications
Strong manual dexterity and physical stamina to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods
Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to customer satisfaction
Valid driver’s license and ability to operate vehicles safely
Preferred Qualifications
Hands-on experience in automotive detailing tasks such as washing, waxing, buffing, masking, sanding, and minor paint applications
Familiarity with replacing small parts and performing minor cosmetic repairs
