Role Summary

This role is a part of TRATON Group R&D, located in Södertälje, Sweden

As a Software Developer within Product Communication at TRATON Group R&D in Södertälje, you will join Team Lynx, part of Scania Workshop Suite (SWS) — a digital workshop platform evolving into a shared solution for the entire TRATON Group.

The team develops the communication layer between workshop tools and vehicles, enabling diagnostics, data retrieval, software updates and other vehicle services.

You will work with backend development, cloud technologies, APIs, distributed systems and vehicle communication in a technically advanced environment where solutions are tested in real workshops and on actual vehicles.

The role focuses on building secure, stable and scalable solutions for future workshop services across the TRATON Group.

Job Responsibilities

Develop and maintain backend services and APIs within the Product Communication domain

Build robust and scalable solutions using C#/.NET and AWS

Enable reliable communication between workshop systems and vehicles

Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical flows across distributed systems

Contribute to the evolution of SWS towards TWS for the wider TRATON organization

Collaborate closely with developers, testers and adjacent teams across SWS

Improve system stability, observability and long-term maintainability

Participate in agile develo
