Position Summary:
This position will operate the machinery, form and pack cases, stack cases, and hand peel/rack off product when necessary.
Responsibilities
- Setup, tear down and proper operation of all the equipment in the department.
- Pack and weight all products accurately.
- Perform necessary weight and process checks.
- Remove inedible and/or rework from the clean room vestibule and transport it to the inedible tank and dump it.
- Empty film canisters.
- Maintain the line performance boards.
- Collect and process production samples and rework.
- Ability and willingness to work overtime and/or weekends as needed
- Perform general housekeeping duties in the department.
- Ability and willingness to complete all paperwork and SAP functions.
- Maintain general manufacturing practices.
- Comply with all safety, food safety, GMP and SQF requirements.
- Perform all positions of job rotation as needed.
- Perform any other work as assigned by management.
- Physical Requirements:
- The successful candidate(s) must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.
- Must be willing and able to push/pull/lift with arms below waist/at shoulder/above shoulder level minimum of 20 pounds frequently.
- The Team Member will use rapid mental/muscular coordination simultaneously.
- The Team Member will use both hands.
- The Team Member will stand/walk/climb/bend for up to 10 hours.
- The Team Member will flex/grip with wrist/hands frequently.
- The Team Member will work in wet conditions and cold temperatures at 35 degrees.
- The Team Member will distinguish between shades and/or colors
