Clutch is a creative growth agency in Helsinki. We do strategy, content, and media, with a focus on culture-driven marketing. That means we start from what people actually care about, watch, share, and argue about, and we build work that lives inside those conversations instead of interrupting them. A lot of what we do involves reaching younger audiences for brands that don't naturally speak to them, which means we spend a lot of time thinking about taste, internet, subcultures, and the difference between something that's actually good and something that just looks like it tested well.
We're hiring two trainees for 5 to 6 months. We're hoping to keep both of you on full time after. Last year's trainee is still with us, now full time, which is exactly the outcome we're aiming for again.
Three lanes, two seats. We're looking for people whose strongest pull is toward one of these: copywriting, graphic design, or social media. You don't need a portfolio that proves you're already great at it. You need to be the kind of person who's been quietly obsessed with it for a while.
If you're applying for the copywriting seat, you'll need to write in Finnish, since most of our work lives there. For design and social, English is fine. We genuinely don't care where you're from or what language you grew up in.
What you'd actually do. Work on real things. Internal projects, client work, the occasional pitch. You'll write drafts that get marked up, make things that get remade, and learn how the work goes from a half-formed idea to something a client actually buys. We'll put real effort into teaching you, not because trainee programs sound nice on a careers page, but because we want this to lead somewhere permanent.
