Supplier Quality Engineer
About this role
We are now looking for a Supplier Quality Engineer (SQE) to join our Supplier Development Department in Ängelholm, Sweden. At Koenigsegg, quality, innovation, and continuous improvement are at the heart of everything we do. Our teams work closely across Research & Development, Production Quality, Sourcing, and Supply Chain to ensure that our products and supplier processes meet the highest standards.
In this role, you will act as a key interface between Koenigsegg and our suppliers, with a strong focus on supplier quality, manufacturing processes, and product and process assurance in new projects. You will support supplier selection, supplier development, and continuous improvement activities to ensure that our suppliers meet Koenigsegg’s requirements and objectives.
Responsibilities
- Your main focus will be on for supporting and securing supplier quality performance across both new and existing suppliers. Your responsibilities will include:
- Acting as the main contact for supplier-related quality and manufacturing requirements within R&D, Quality, and Sourcing projects.
- Participating in supplier selection to ensure that the right suppliers are chosen for new projects.
- Conducting supplier pre-audits, evaluations, system audits, and process audits.
- Ensuring that supplier processes are effective, robust, and aligned with Koenigsegg’s quality requirements.
- Driving supplier development activities when suppliers need to improve in order to meet Koenigsegg standards.
- Managing supplier non-conformities, recurring quality issues, and corrective actions.
- Reviewing and closing supplier 8D reports and supplier claims.
- Supporting continuous improvement activities both internally and with suppliers.
- Working with supplier KPIs/PIs and ensuring that preventive and reactive actions are properly followed up.
- Travel may be required, both domestically and internationally.
