Are you interested in investing, analytics, and applying technology in practice? We are strengthening OP Asset Management's asset allocation team with an Analyst / Junior Portfolio Manager. The role offers an opportunity to work in a central position in institutional asset management and to contribute to developing the investment process by leveraging data and technology.
A few words about the job
The asset allocation team is responsible for managing and analysing OP Group's multi-asset products and portfolios within discretionary mandates. The portfolios are broadly diversified across fixed income, equities, and alternative investments. As an Analyst / Junior Portfolio Manager, you will contribute to the analysis of investment portfolios, the preparation and implementation of allocation decisions, and the development of the investment process.
In this role, you will analyze financial markets and support investment decisions, as well as implement allocation changes as part of day-to-day portfolio management. You will also help improve the investment process by developing automation, analytics, and tools that leverage data and AI.
What we expect from you?
You can come to the role either from the investment side or the technology side. We especially value an interest in combining investing with technology development.
Investment expertise: interest in financial markets and relationships between asset classes, and an understanding of the investment process and finance and/or quantitative methods.
Technology expertise: experience with, or a strong interest in, leveraging analytics and technology; skills in, or willingness to develop skills in, tools such as Power Platform (incl. Copilot Studio), Visual Studio Code and modern development environments; and an understanding of the importance of data and process development.
