We are looking for a PLM Test Lead (Smart Product Platform) for a global manufacturing company in Lund with 50% remote work possibility.
Start is in June 2026, 10 months limited contract to begin with.
Role Overview
The Smart Product Platform Test Lead (Consultant) is engaged on a time-bound basis to oversee the entire testing lifecycle of our new SPP software Development. They are responsible for planning, coordinating, and delivering high quality testing activities for our solution involving PTC Windchill, Inventor and Creo. This role ensures that system functionality, integrations, and business processes are thoroughly validated, enabling a stable, compliant, and user-ready PLM solution.
The consultant will bring immediate hands-on expertise, working with minimal supervision to plan and facilitate the User Acceptance Tests and reduce risk to our PLM initiative.
Scope of Work
Define testing strategies, create test plans, assign tasks, manage risks, and report on quality metrics. Act as a leader focused on both technical testing excellence and team leadership, ensuring high-quality product delivery, including:
Lead end-to-end testing activities for PTC Windchill implementations, upgrades, and enhancements
Define and own the test strategy, test plans, schedules, and entry/exit criteria
Manage system, integration, regression, performance, and user acceptance testing (UAT)
Coordinate testing across Windchill modules (e.g., PDMLink, MPMLink, ProjectLink) and integrations with ERP, CAD (Creo), or other enterprise systems
Review and validate business and technical requirements to ensure test coverage
Design, review, and maintain test cases, test scenarios, and test data
Lead defect management including triage, prioritisation, root-cause analysis, and retesting
Communicate test progress, risks, and quality metrics to stakeholders
Support UAT by guiding business users, managing test cycles, and ensuring signoff readiness
