The Contracting and Distribution Strategies team in U.S. Vaccines is seeking a Customer Manager who will be responsible for managing our contracts and agreements in the Public Sector (inclusive of CDC, VA, and DoD segments).

This position partners with key internal stakeholders, including Brand Marketing, Portfolio Marketing, Global Market Access & Pricing, Policy, Order Management Center, Manufacturing, CCM, Customer Operations, Commercial Legal, Data and Analytics Teams, Finance, Account Management, and Vaccine sales teams.

Responsibilities

  • Contracting & Customer Management
  • Lead the design & execution of CDC contracting including the addition of launch products.
  • Evaluate and update strategy and adjust segments in the public sector for performance of current and future contracts.
  • Work with sales teams and customers to ensure appropriate compliance with the terms and conditions of our contracts.
  • Collaborate with manufacturing and distribution teams to ensure internal contract compliance.
  • Collaborate cross functionally to design tactics to support account management and execution activities.
  • Respond to State & Municipal contracting requests
  • Data & Analytics
  • Manage the collection, evaluation, and utilization of public sector data to drive decision making
  • Partner with Marketing, DHH, and Field Sales to create insights from data.
  • Use data to drive the prioritization of public sector and execution with customers.
  • Leadership Excellence
  • Develop strong relationships across key stakeholders
  • Serve as subject matter expert and a key source of information concerning CDC, DoD, and VA segments including sales potential, trends, customer needs and the competitive environment
  • Ability to work as part of a matrixed team, while also being able to lead without authority as appropriate.

  • The position is based in Upper Gwynedd, PA. (hybrid) or Remote
  • Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years local, regional, and/or global commercial or equivalent functions including strategy development, marketing, sales, project management, commercial operations, or market access (or equivalent roles)
  • Demonstrated leadership/management across diverse stakeholders, including those without direct reporting relationship
  • Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills
  • Strategic Thinking: Proven ability to analyze complex data and create clear customer centric strategies.
  • Exceptional communicator with strong verbal, written and presentation skills
  • Strong organizational and project management skills

  • Leadership and Impact: Proven track record of high-performance and driving business results.
  • Experience in vaccine market or implementing contracts/ pricing programs for vaccines.
