About the Role

The Product Lifecycle department is organized within Digitalization & IT at GKN Aerospace Engine Systems in Trollhättan.

The department is responsible for enabling and governing the Engineering and PLM digital backbone within Aerospace & Defense. It provides end‑to‑end solutions that support the entire product lifecycle, from requirements and design to manufacturing, maintenance, and retirement. By combining deep business understanding with strong digital and architectural capabilities, the department ensures seamless integration between engineering tools, PLM platforms, and enterprise systems. Operating in a highly regulated environment, it focuses on standardization, compliance, and long‑term digital continuity. You will act as a creator of architectural design, defining system requirements and use cases to address overall business requirements, ensuring that the technical solution remains aligned and delivers value throughout any project.
