We are looking for someone with a passion for bridging the gap between high-quality code and robust infrastructure. This role is ideal for a developer who thrives on the unique challenges of VoIP, solving complex routing logic, managing media servers, and ensuring the reliability of global voice traffic.
You will be the driving force behind developing our core SIP applications and the associated developer experience tools. While your primary focus is software development, you are someone who "speaks" infrastructure, ensuring our real-time communication stacks are scalable, automated, and resilient. You’ll collaborate across cross-functional teams to deliver seamless, high-performance voice solutions within our modern cloud environment.
Key Responsibilities and Qualifications
SIP & Media Development: Design, develop, and maintain SIP-based applications using Kamailio, alongside media servers like Asterisk.
Application Ownership: Take full-cycle ownership of telephony-related applications and integrations (developed in mainly Python and PHP)
CI/CD & Automation: Build and maintain robust deployment pipelines.
Developer Experience: Improve the local development environment and build automated testing frameworks to streamline how we ship voice features.
Linux Systems: Manage day-to-day operations, troubleshooting, and application deployments within a Linux environment.
Collaboration: Work closely with other engineering teams to ensure our voice infrastructure delivers maximum value to our customers.
Innovation: Interest in Generative AI and LLMs.
