Job Summary
We are now searching for a DevOps Engineer to join our Digital Solutions Development team!
Our Digital Solutions Development team belongs within PS&E Automation & Solution which is responsible for developing new Factory OS™.
This is our next-generation digital ecosystem, built on open, modular smart factory technologies and decades of industry expertise.
You will be based in Modena, Italy or Lund, Sweden but you will work in a global arena.
Responsibilities
- As our new DevOps Engineer you will:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support CI/CD pipelines.
- Monitor and optimize cloud-based systems for performance and reliability.
- Lead in automating workflows using tools like Docker, Kubernetes, or similar.
- Develop monitoring and alerting tools enabling proactive support to customer critical infrastructure.
- Implement best practices for infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform.
- Troubleshoot and resolve system issues alongside other DevOps engineers.
- Participate in ongoing training and knowledge-sharing sessions to grow your technical skills.
- We believe you have
- You have a Bachelor/master’s degree in Computer Science, Digital Automation Engineering or equivalent.
- Development skills in one object-oriented language like Python, C#, Java, Go and in scripting language like Bash/PowerShell.
- Deep knowledge in one or more of the following areas:
- Linux/Unix systems and shell scripting.
- Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
- Tools like Git, Docker, Kubernetes. Virtualizations platforms such as ESXi, Hyper-V.
- CKA/CKAD or Azure certifications
