Job Summary

Digital Solutions Development within PS&E Automation & Solution is responsible for developing new Factory OS™, that is our next-generation digital ecosystem, built on open, modular smart factory technologies and decades of industry expertise.

You will be based in Modena, Italy or Lund, Sweden but you will work in a global arena.

Responsibilities

  • As our new System Infrastructure Developer, you will:
  • Design, build, and maintain scalable, reliable, and secure system infrastructure across on‑premises and cloud environments
  • Develop monitoring and alerting tools enabling proactive support to customer critical infrastructure.
  • Collaborate with DevOps, Testing and Operation teams to support infrastructure and application lifecycle needs.
  • Implement best practices for infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform.
  • Support the troubleshooting related to hypervisors, hosting virtual machines and container orchestrators together with DevOps team.
  • Support the troubleshooting on installation manifests of target GitOps tools.
  • Support in scouting tools for monitoring and proactive troubleshooting
  • Participate in ongoing training and knowledge-sharing sessions to grow your technical skills.
  • We believe you have
  • You have a Bachelor/master’s degree in Computer Science, Digital Automation Engineering or equivalent.
  • Deep knowledge and hands-on experience in one or more of the following areas:
  • Linux/Unix systems and shell scripting.
  • Networking skill, CCNA or equivalent certification level.
  • Ability to read, understand, and write code in .NET.
  • Tools like Git, Docker, Kubernetes.
