We are now looking for an analytically minded Analyst Trainee to join our team for the summer. In this role, you will work with real customer cases, develop analytical tools, and turn complex energy system data into clear insights that support sales, customer discussions, and market entry preparation. This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience at the intersection of energy technology, data analysis, and business.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare techno-economic analyses for district heating networks using Steady Energy’s existing calculation model
  • Develop and maintain the analysis model to improve structure, usability, accuracy, and repeatability
  • Run scenario analyses by varying key technical and commercial parameters, and interpret impacts on lifecycle cost, profitability, and competitiveness
  • Support customer case work by preparing analysis materials, summarizing results, and contributing to presentations
  • Collect, structure, and validate input data for customer-specific modelling cases
  • Document modelling assumptions, methods, and outputs to ensure reproducibility and further development
  • Contribute to further development of the model towards a more scalable tool and support market analysis (e.g. Sweden)
  • Perform other related tasks within the scope of the role

Requirements

  • Ongoing university studies in energy technology, energy systems, process engineering, industrial engineering and management, or a related field
  • Minimum requirement: completed bachelor’s degree; master’s studies in progress are considered an advantage
  • Previous work experience is not required, but experience in analytical work, modelling, energy sector topics, or thesis/research work is a plus
  • Strong Excel and MS Office 36
