About this role

Join the future of sustainable shipping with Norsepower!

Are you ready to embark on a thrilling journey in the heart of maritime innovation? Norsepower, a pioneer in sustainable shipping solutions, is bringing sails back to shipping - and saving the planet at the same time. We are now seeking a dynamic and talented Group Controller to join our team.

Norsepower Rotor Sail™ harnesses the wind to maximize fuel efficiency and reduce emissions of ships. It is the first commercially available mechanical sail for large vessels. It has a proven track record of successful operation since 2014. Norsepower's project services cover all phases from sales to project delivery and operational support. Each project is planned according to the client's needs and preferences.

We are looking for a Group Controller with a solid background in group reporting and controlling to support us in our journey. You will be responsible for the Group's financial reporting and controlling at a consolidated level, ensuring transparency, consistency, and strong financial governance across all entities. The role involves close collaboration with local finance teams and active participation in developing group-level processes, controls, and reporting practices.

This is a high-impact role offering significant responsibility from day one, with clear opportunities to expand the scope over time and take on additional leadership and development responsibilities as the Group continues to scale.

Our office is located in Ruoholahti, and we work in a flexible hybrid model. At Norsepower, this means being at the office 2-3 times a week, fostering a collaborative work environment.
