What does the position involve?

We are looking for a Director of Education to be responsible for running the Department of Business. The position is located at Mikkeli campus. The position is permanent and full-time. The work will start on 3 August 2026, or as agreed. The position is subject to a probationary period of six months.

The Director of Education is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the education department as well as for the development of education, RDI and service activities in the field of business. The Director of Education acts as a supervisor in the department. In this role, you will be able to influence the future of the field of education and to develop new educational products. As a leader, you will also promote of Xamk's shared strategic objetives and create new iniatives in international cooperation. Your closest colleagues will be fellow directors of education. You will act as a supervisor for approximately 25-30 experts supporting their success as part of your daily work.
