Job Purpose

This role combines

customer-facing business development

and

vendor/program ownership

, ideal for markets where one BDM drives both growth and vendor success. You will lead the expansion of the

Veeam portfolio

, growing profitable market share through partners and key customers while acting as a trusted advisor internally and externally.

Responsibilities

  • Own and grow
  • Veeam business
  • across assigned customers and partners
  • Drive
  • profitable revenue growth
  • aligned with the Business Unit strategy
  • Position and sell
  • solutions and services
  • , including consumption and TaaS models
  • Enable and support sales teams to increase
  • share of wallet and win-rate
  • Lead
  • complex deals, tenders, and strategic opportunities
  • Build strong, trusted relationships with
  • vendors, partners, and internal teams
  • Identify new opportunities, initiatives, and routes to market
  • Collaborate closely with
  • FSEs, sales, and vendor teams
  • Act as the
  • go-to expert
  • for the assigned vendor portfolio
  • In smaller markets, take on additional responsibilities such as
  • category or program ownership
  • Support coaching, development, or people management activities where applicable

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a
  • BDM or sales professional in IT / vendor-based environments
  • Strong knowledge of
  • data protection, infrastructure or Veeam technologies
  • Solid understanding of the
  • IT channel ecosystem
  • (vendors, partners, competition)
  • Commercial mindset with strong
  • negotiation and influencing skills
  • Customer-focused, proactive, and results-driven
  • Clear communicator with the ability to motivate and enable sales teams
  • Structured, data-driven approach to sales and pipeline management
  • High level of
  • ownership, accountability, and self-management
  • Comfortable working with
  • Excel, PowerPoint, CRM / ERP tools
  • (SAP is a plus)
  • People management experience is a plus, not a requirement
  • Business or technology-related degree is an advantage
