Editorial Strategy Ownership Responsibility lies in developing and refining the editorial direction of MyGroove. This includes setting clear frameworks for how we communicate across all channels and ensuring a consistent, user-centered narrative throughout the experience. Brand Tone & Style A key focus will be defining and maintaining a coherent tone of voice. All written communication should feel approachable, supportive, and aligned with the journey of learning an instrument in a digital, motivating environment. Cross-Touchpoint Consistenc Consistency across all user touchpoints is essential. From in-app content to external communication, the goal is to create a unified brand voice that users recognize and trust at every interaction. Positioning & Discoverability A central part of the role is helping establish MyGroove as the first destination for anyone starting to learn an instrument. The way we communicate should make the product easy to understand, discoverable, and relevant at the moment of intent. Collaboration with Teams Close collaboration with product, design, and marketing ensures that editorial decisions are embedded in the overall product experience. Together, communication is continuously refined to support both user needs and business goals.
2+ years of experience in digital media or editorial roles within fast-paced online environments. Proven track record in commissioning content and collaborating with larger editorial teams. Fluency in English (required); German is a strong plus. Experience in building and growing digital audiences through strategic, content-driven approaches for online products. Strong understanding of organic search and answer engine optimization (SEO/AEO), with the ability to produce content aligned with best practices that improve discoverability and relevance. Confident in working with analytics tools such as Google Analytics and Google Search Console to evaluate content performance, derive insights, and continuously optimize based on data-driven findings. A collaborative mindset paired with a self-starter attitude. Strong communication skills, a hands-on approach, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic, global startup environment.
Due to legal reasons we are obliged to disclose the minimum salary according to the collective agreement for this position, which is EUR 2.760 gross per month. However, our attractive compensation package is based on market-oriented salaries and is therefore significantly above the stated minimum salary.
