Your mission

The Lead Developer, Salesforce is a key development role, responsible for leading the hands-on development, configuration, and technical implementation of scalable Salesforce solutions that support business goals. You will guide the team in best practices, technical excellence, and cybersecurity awareness, ensuring solutions are high-quality, maintainable, and future-proof. The role involves translating business requirements into robust technical solutions, leading the full development lifecycle from design through deployment, and fostering strong collaboration with stakeholders, project managers, and other IT teams.

This position is based in Helsinki, Finland, but we're also open to applications in our Tampere and Raisio sites.

Responsibilities

  • Lead Technical Development & Architecture: Drive the technical design, development, and implementation of complex, scalable Salesforce solutions, including integrations with other enterprise systems, and proactively evaluate and recommend new Salesforce features and design approaches
  • Ensure Quality and Team Growth: Mentor junior and mid-level developers, conduct code reviews to maintain high-quality deliverables, and oversee the CI/CD pipeline (using tools like Gearset & JIRA) and sandbox environments to ensure smooth deployments
  • Manage Project Delivery and Stakeholders: Work closely with business stakeholders, product owners, and project managers to gather requirements, estimate project efforts, manage technical risks and issues, and provide regular technical updates and status reports. This also involves building and maintaining strong internal and external relationships with IT teams, vendors, and business units
