Category Manager

We are looking for a new Category Manager.

As a Category Manager, you will become a technical expert within a specific application segment (e.g., forestry machinery, agricultural machinery, suspension systems, construction equipment). Your responsibilities includes:

Leading new development and optimization of hydraulic cylinders and related components

Collaborating closely with customers, suppliers, production, purchasing, and Key Account Managers

Supporting production units and technology centers both in Finland and internationally

Ensuring quality through technical standards and processes

Your responsibilities

Design of all new articles

To specify and do calculations on all customer-unique products

To run smaller customer projects until approved prototype

Quality assurance of prototypes in close cooperation with production

Develop new products in close cooperation with customer

Assist in problem solving and improvement of existing products

Who are you?

In order to be successful in this position, we believe that you are a structured, direct, clear and determined person who knows how to work both independently and in a group. The role has many contact surfaces, both internally and externally, and it is important that you are enthusiastic about versatile work.

You have a suitable university degree, for example Bachelor of Science, in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent, and you have previously worked with industrial technology solutions.

We greatly expect that you have experience with hydraulics and mechanical designing.

You speak and write English (Finnish) fluently.

Since we work with PTC Creo (Pro/ENGINEER) and PTC Windchill PDM Link, it would be good if you are familiar with these.
