The team you can join works closely with business – our Power & Gas traders – and takes the leading role in supplying custom developed solutions.  For our office in Hamburg, we are looking for a dedicated and motivated person to fill the position of   QA specialist | Test automation   in the Power & Gas Logistics Solutions team.  As a QA specialist, you will work at the heart of our Energy Trading Landscape, engaging with numerous interfaces and stakeholders. You will be tasked with strengthening our overall quality assurance and help to establish testing processes to ensure that our products and services meet the highest quality standards.  We are looking for a QA specialist with a strong software engineer background. Ideally, you have experience in frontend or fullstack development, but have transitioned to QA over time.  Based in our Hamburg HafenCity office, you will collaborate with a diverse and international team. Your work will be closely related to the European energy transition, contributing to a sustainable and greener future.   Your key responsibilities:   Drive our Quality Assurance and Test Automation Development and the introduction of related testing tools  Focus on making Testing automated where valuable until the User Acceptance Test with the end users  Not only perform tests but also be actively involved from the very beginning — participating in requirements analysis and the creation of user stories   Build expertise on both the business and the system, learning from long-standing experts in the field in direct interaction with various stakeholders  Participate in development of new features, maintenance of applications and troubleshooting  Ensuring testing effort is owned by the whole team   

Your profile as QA specialist | Test automation   Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field. We welcome applicants from various fields of study, as the exact discipline is less important than your ability to solve complex problems  Proven experience in software testing, a plus would be certifications (e.g., ISTQB Agile Tester)   Experience in test automation frameworks (e.g. Playwright)   Practical experience in software development or similar. Familiarity with cloud environments (e.g. Azure)  Experience with Azure DevOps and integration of automated tests into pipelines   Practical Knowledge in using AI tools for testing automation, knowledge of tools for UI and E2E testing  Experience in QA within trading or any financial platforms  Strong analytical and problem-solving skills  English C1, German is a plus  Whether you are a junior, mid-level or senior developer, we have the tools to help you grow. Most important is your own initiative, willingness to finish through and complete releases to PROD and be flexible if you are working with people in the Hamburg office or hybrid.
