As Product Owner you are responsible for ensuring that we build the product right. This role ensures that development teams always work on well-prepared, prioritised and clearly defined items. The role translates product direction into actionable development work and ensures that teams can deliver efficiently with minimal ambiguity and interruption.
The Product Owner operates primarily in a sprint-level time horizon and works closely with development teams. We operate in a Scrum-inspired development model within a heavily project-driven environment.
Development teams work with a combination of: product roadmap initiatives
customer project deliverables
contractual commitments
third level support items
technical sustainability improvements
Because incoming work often originates from projects and customer commitments, the Product Owner plays a key role in ensuring that work entering development is:
prioritised
clearly defined
feasible within the sprint
aligned with overall product direction
Remote working is a natural part of our jobs, meaning you can choose where you work from, but you will find the most colleagues in Espoo, Turku, Tampere, Kajaani, Kuopio and Stockholm. As an employer, we support and encourage our employees to regularly visit the office to meet colleague as we've identified the benefits of it.
