About the Assignment You will join a technically advanced environment focused on the next generation of battery-electric mining equipment. In this role, you will help shape zero-emission heavy machinery by designing mechanical systems for EES products, with a strong focus on robust solutions that perform reliably in the field while also supporting cost-efficient production and assembly. The work spans everything from compact and durable casings to stowing of high-voltage components, high-voltage distribution, electric infrastructure, and thermal management systems. You will mainly work with existing EES products, improving the current portfolio from both a robustness and manufacturability perspective. Job DescriptionYou will develop and maintain mechanical designs for EES products, including chassis layouts, battery enclosures, and cooling systems. You will design mechanical solutions for battery packs, power electronics, and charging systems, with attention to safety, isolation standards, and serviceability. You will create and validate heavy-duty structures built to withstand shock loads, vibration, abrasive environments, and continuous duty cycles in underground mining. You will design cooling and heating solutions for batteries, motors, and electronics. You will produce detailed 3D CAD models, assemblies, and drawings, while managing BOMs and revision control throughout the product lifecycle. You will perform simpler structural calculations and verify CAD drawings and technical documentation. You will support prototype builds, mechanical and thermal testing, analyze outcomes, and
