We are looking for a community manager to launch and develop a deep tech accelerator in Otaniemi, Espoo - in the middle of one of Europe's most dynamic innovation ecosystems.

The Deep Tech Accelerator is an experiment carried out by the City of Espoo. The aim is to develop an effective model to support the growth, scaling and internationalisation of research-based companies after the critical spinout phase.

You will work at A Grid at Aalto University campus and as part of local, national and European networks. Your work matters: you will help solve one of the key innovation challenges - how research can be used to create impactful business and sustainable solutions faster.

In your role you will

be responsible for the daily operational activities of the accelerator and the implementation of the experiment

build and facilitate a community where research-based spinouts, experts, investors and business partners meet (e.g. office hours, sparring, workshops and investor events)

connect companies to networks and experts (e.g. mentors and financiers) who help companies develop in the fields of financing, markets, piloting and internationalisation

identify, grow and deepen partnerships that serve companies with Aalto University, research organisations, funders, companies and other potential partners both in Finland and abroad

report and document the learning, observations and development needs generated during the experiment and bring them to support Espoo's decision-making and operational development

participate in building the visibility of the accelerator as part of Espo
