Responsibilities

  • Perform aseptic sampling of raw materials, including chemicals, excipients, and packaging components in accordance with SOPs and cGMP requirements
  • Accurately document all sampling activities, ensuring full compliance with data integrity and regulatory standards
  • Prepare, label, and submit samples to the Quality Control laboratory for testing
  • Maintain sampling areas and equipment to high standards of cleanliness and organisation
  • Monitor inventory levels of sampling materials and ensure availability of required supplies
  • Identify, report, and support investigation of deviations, quality issues, and out-of-specification results
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and support updates to sampling procedures and documentation

Requirements

  • A degree or equivalent qualification in a scientific discipline such as Chemistry, Biology, or Biotechnology
  • Experience working in a GMP-regulated environment, ideally within raw material sampling or quality control
  • Strong understanding of cGMP principles and aseptic techniques
  • Hands-on experience with laboratory equipment such as balances and pH meters
  • High attention to detail with strong organisational and documentation skills
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to work both independently and within a team
  • A proactive mindset with a commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement
