On a typical day, you'll develop scalable and cost-effective data solutions and collaborate with cross-functional teams and make a direct impact on our mission to revolutionize transportation.</span></p></div><div><p><span><strong>ROLE SPECIFICS:</strong></span></p></div><ul><li><p><span>Future-proofing our existing data platform for internal and external stakeholders</span></p></li><li><p><span>Creating production grade data solutions in co-operation with the internal stakeholders</span></p></li><li><p><span>Improving existing data models to build scalable and cost-effective data solutions</span></p></li><li><p><span>Building new and optimizing existing data pipelines</span></p></li><li><p><span>Planning and collaborating with external and internal stakeholders.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Taking ownership of ChargEye’s data landscape</span></p></li><li><p><span>Overseeing data quality and governance</span></p></li><li><p><span>Taking a leading role in designing new data engineering processes and its implementations</span></p></li><li><p><span>Mentoring and supporting the more junior colleagues in the team</span></p></li></ul><div><p><span><strong>Key Technologies</strong></span></p></div><ul><li><p><span>AWS, including services like Kinesis, S3, Lambda and DynamoDB</span></p></li><li><p><span>TimescaleDB for time series data storage</span></p></li><li><p><span>ElasticSearch, serving as the analytical application backend</span></p></li><li><p><span>Databricks with PySpark and SQL for large-scale analytics</span></p></li><li><p><span>Terraform for maintaining infrastructure</span></p></li></ul><div><div><p><span>At Kempower, we work in a hybrid model. The whole Cloud software &amp; data team meets in Lahti approximately once a month but would encourage the selected candidate to visit the office and meet the team members more often.
