Role Overview
We are looking for a hands-on and practical Procurement Specialist to support the rollout of the SAP MM module from a material data perspective and later be responsible for daily operational procurement.
This role places you at the intersection of business operations and system development—first in SAP implementation support and then in ongoing procurement responsibility.
Responsibilities
- Phase 1: SAP MM Implementation Support
- Collect, structure, and validate material data
- Maintain and develop the material master
- Collaborate with production, warehouse, and finance teams on data definitions
- Support testing and go‑live activities
- Work closely with SAP implementation partners
- Phase 2: Operational Procurement
- Manage daily purchasing and purchase order processes
- Ensure material availability for production needs
- Collaborate with suppliers to secure delivery reliability
- Monitor costs and participate in negotiations
- Improve material data quality
- Develop procurement processes within SAP MM
- Enhance reporting and transparency
