Circular Materials Project Lead

As Circular Materials Project Lead you are responsible for project management, industry engagement, and development of circular innovation pilots in an ambitious team with inspiring coworkers.

What are ReCreate Biobased and Reed2Market?

The position is part of the EU-funded project ReCreate BioBased under the Interreg Central Baltic Programme (50%) and Business Finland funded Reed2Market project under the co-research programme (50%). These projects focus on developing circular value chains for biobased materials, with a particular focus on underutilised resources such as reed. The project brings together universities, companies, NGOs, and public actors from Finland, Sweden, and the Baltic states. The aim is to research and co-develop practical circular solutions and innovation pilots, while also establishing a Circular Materials Laboratory at Arcada to support research, development, and long-term collaboration.

In this role, you will act as a bridge between Arcada and industry, while leading the overall project implementation across the consortium.

You are responsible for overall project implementation and have experience in project management, stakeholder engagement, and circular economy.
