Lead Platform Engineer, AI

At Veikkaus, we are fundamentally transforming our software engineering practices. Our mission is to build a truly AI-native development lifecycle (SDLC) from the ground up, focusing on rigorous, high-quality, and efficient outcomes - not just hype. We are looking for a Lead Platform Engineer to build the "paved road" that enables both AI agents and human developers to deliver high-quality code without friction. The position is permanent and full-time.

Your core responsibilities

Your central responsibility is to build the infrastructure, pipelines, and tools that make AI-native development a production reality.

Build the AI-SDLC framework: Design and build the CI/CD integrations, sandboxes, and CLI tools specifically for AI agent workflows. This is a hands-on role where you turn concepts into a modern internal developer platform (IDP).

Empower pilot teams through infrastructure: Act as the lead engineering partner to our initial pilot teams. When they encounter technical bottlenecks in AI-driven workflows, you build platform-level solutions, documentation, and automated scaffolding to unblock them.

Turn standards into automated guardrails: Translate architectural standards from static documents into active context. This includes building the RAG pipelines and metadata schemas that feed our AI tools, ensuring that both agents and humans follow best practices by default.

What it takes to succeed in this role:

Practical SDLC engineering: You have deep, hands-on
