The Doctoral Programme in Engineering Sciences within the Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences has strong industrial relevance. Graduates have the ability to refine industrial challenges into scientific research questions and apply scientific methods to create new knowledge. They will have the expertise to pursue challenging careers in the field of engineering sciences. The programme is closely focused on technology covering the following research fields: Automation Science and Engineering, Materials Science and Engineering as well as Mechanical and Production Engineering.

Job description

We have 4 fully funded doctoral researcher (postgraduate student) positions open to candidates willing to carry out a research project towards a doctoral degree (Dr. Sc. (Tech) / PhD). Most of the positions are to be funded for three years. Shorter periods can also be considered. The doctoral researchers are supposed to carry out research in one of our research groups in the research fields of Automation Science and Engineering, Mechanical and Production Engineering or Materials Science and Engineering.
