ALTEN is now looking for a Software Developer for an assignment with one of our clients within the automotive industry. You will join a team working with Developer Toolchains, focusing on Adaptive AUTOSAR and Linux-based SDKs used in vehicle control and central node environments.

About the role

In this role, you will work with development and maintenance of Adaptive AUTOSAR and Linux SDKs used within vehicle control modules. The focus is on platform-level development, enabling efficient and robust development environments for software teams working with vehicle systems.

You will be part of a team responsible for the developer toolchain, where areas such as build systems, SDK structure, CI/CD flows, and overall developer experience are central. The role suits someone who enjoys working behind the scenes, creating stable foundations and smooth workflows for large-scale embedded software development.

Main responsibilities

Develop and maintain Adaptive AUTOSAR and Linux-based SDKs

Contribute to platform and toolchain development for vehicle control systems

Improve developer experience through better tooling, workflows, and documentation

Work with CI/CD pipelines and automation to support efficient development

Collaborate with teams working on central nodes and embedded platforms

Support integration and continuous improvement of the development environment

Your profile

We see that you have:

Strong skills in C and C++

Experience with Linux-based development environments

Background in platform or embedded software development

Interest in Developer Experience and/or CI/CD

Experience working with complex software systems

Ability to work independently as well as in cross-functional teams

Very good English language skills
