About this role

Responsibilities

• Bring energy, knowledge, innovation, and leadership to carry out the following:
• Develop and maintain relationships with external stakeholders relating to national access and pricing to facilitate timely access for our products; Keep up to date on technical requirements and the environment as it relates to same
• Lead pipeline assessment and early planning around new product introduction in Ireland in collaboration with patient access team and using cross-functional approach
• Lead MA planning within cross-functional team environment and the operational elements related to
• pricing applications / pricing movement
• the development of Rapid Review and HTA submissions
• the completion of Horizon Scanning requirements
• Influence and collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing and Medical colleagues to manage same projects
• Collaborate with UK HTA team, Global/Regional Market Access and New products groups to understand pipeline, economic models and related data requirements
• Evaluate pricing and value proposals within cross-functional teams; use technical expertise to lead scenario planning to support stakeholder discussions
• Provide expertise and guidance regarding internal and external processes. Partner with regional and global pricing groups to optimize access and pricing for the Irish subsidiary
• Work with policy colleagues on the development of Access policy positions & support to shape the future reimbursement environment in Ireland
• In order to excel in this role, you will more than likely have:
• Masters (or postgraduate qualification) in pharmaco-economics, health economics or related field and 3+ years’ experience in Patient/Market Access working on HTA submissions and an ability to manipulate economic models
• Broad understanding and ongoing curiosity around the Irish healthcare system and policies and processes as they relate to access and pricing
• Good communicator with a collaboration focus with an ability to lead / influence without authority
• Strategic thinker with strong commercial acumen
• Ability to work well (under pressure) within a cross-functional team environment and coordinate several projects for different parts of the business simultaneously
