About the Assignment You will join a team responsible for developing key engine and cooling system components for next-generation propulsion solutions in a global automotive environment. The role is part of the lower base engine area and gives you broad technical ownership across both in-house development and supplier collaboration. This assignment suits you if you enjoy combining detailed design work with coordination, technical leadership, and follow-up. You will work close to project teams and line organizations, helping move component development forward from concept to implementation. Your scope includes components such as cylinder blocks, crankshafts, conrods, bearings, seals, and cooling system parts including pumps, brackets, hoses, pipes, valves, and coolers. Job DescriptionDrive technical work related to new propulsion drivelines. Lead, summarize, and present technical solutions to both project and line organizations. Take responsibility for components developed by suppliers as well as in-house teams. Create, position, and develop component designs in both 3D and 2D. Plan activities and follow up on project plans and technical deliveries. Contribute to design reviews and support structured development throughout the component lifecycle. RequirementsStrong knowledge of Catia V5 for 3D and 2D design work. Experience handling part numbers and change orders. Experience working with design reviews and FMEA. Ability to communicate clearly in both Swedish and English. You work in a structured way and collaborate well with both internal teams and suppliers.
