Talent Reporting & Analytics Specialist

About the Role

We are seeking a

Talent Reporting & Analytics Specialist

to support our talent function through data, insights, and reporting. This role partners closely with our HRIS Team, Talent Acquisition & Talent Management, and Talent Operational Excellence stakeholders to deliver accurate reporting, actionable insights, and data-driven recommendations that improve hiring outcomes, efficiency, and story telling.

Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and maintain recurring and ad-hoc recruiting reports and dashboards (e.g., time-to-fill, source effectiveness, pipeline health, diversity metrics, etc...)
  • Analyze end-to-end talent acquisition data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement
  • Translate complex data into clear insights and recommendations for TA leadership and business stakeholders
  • Ensure data accuracy and integrity across ATS (workday), HRIS, and related systems
  • Partner with recruiters and TA leaders to define metrics, KPIs, and reporting requirements
  • Automate and streamline reporting processes to improve efficiency and scalability
  • Support capacity modelling, and forecasting initiatives
  • Monitor hiring performance against goals and service-level agreements
  • Develop standardized reporting documentation, definitions, and best practices
  • Respond to data requests from HR, Finance, DEI, and executive leadership
  • Stay current on talent analytics trends, tools, and reporting methodologies
  • Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Analytics, Statistics, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Robust experience in talent acquisition analytics, HR analytics, or workforce reporting
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail
  • Experience working with ATS platforms (Workday an asset)
  • Advanced skills in Excel (pivot tables, formulas, data modeling)
  • Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Looker)
  • Ability to communicate data insights clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with SQL, Python for data analysis is an asset
  • Strong competencies in building PPT slides
  • Experience integrating data across ATS, HRIS, and external recruiting platforms
  • Knowledge of DEI metrics and compliance reporting
  • Background supporting high-volume or global recruiting teams
  • Experience with automation tools or reporting workflows
