Electronics Design Engineer (Industrial R&D)

📍 Helsinki, Finland (Hybrid)

We are currently looking for an experienced Electronics Design Engineer to join our client’s industrial control hardware R&D team in Helsinki. This is an excellent opportunity to work on high-quality, long lifecycle industrial products in a collaborative and technically advanced environment.

In this role, you will be involved in embedded hardware development, working closely with system architects, software developers, and testing specialists.

🔧 Your Responsibilities

Design and develop electronics for embedded control systems

Work on PCBA design, with a focus on processor-based boards

Participate in R&D validation, testing, and troubleshooting

Contribute to system-level testing, including EMC

Collaborate with cross-functional teams across hardware, software, and system design

Depending on your experience and interests, you may also work with:

PCB layout design

FPGA / VHDL development

Power electronics

👤 Your Profile

Minimum 5 years of experience in electronics design

Strong background in embedded systems and processor-based hardware

Experience with industrial product development and testing practices

Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

Fluent in English (Finnish is considered an advantage)
