What you will doVolvo Buses are working with multistage homologation and we are responsible for chassis homologation, and also in some cases the completed bus homologation. We are, however, one team working with both areas. You will:
Prepare and submitting documentation for regulatory approvals and publishing the new and updated certificates.• Represent and coordinate within projects for new and existing products to meet all the statutory and mandatory requirements.• Coordinate certification tests and evaluations with testing team, technical services, and type approval authorities.• Be the subject matter expert for regulations, providing regulatory input and guidance to support projects and engineering teams.• Monitor product changes to ensure compliance continuity.
Your future teamThe homologation/certification function is a team of around ten engineers that is part of Product and Project Management (PMM) within Global Bus Technology (GBT). The team is in Gothenburg, but we are collaborating with teams in Europe, Brazil and Mexico. We also interact directly with our bus body builder customers.
