Finance Controlling Specialist

to join our

Close & Control Team

, supporting Belgium market. This is an exciting opportunity to deepen your expertise in financial controlling while gaining international exposure in a global pharma leader.

Responsibilities

  • Take ownership of financial controlling activities for a European commercial entity, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with
  • IFRS
  • and
  • SOX
  • requirements.
  • Lead the
  • period-end close process
  • , including analytical reviews and preparation of reporting packs.
  • Present and discuss monthly results directly with the
  • local Finance Director
  • , acting as a trusted business partner.
  • Perform account analysis, review journals, and execute internal controls to maintain financial integrity.
  • Work closely with colleagues across Finance, including
  • Planning & Forecasting Analysts
  • ,
  • Regional Controllers
  • , and the
  • GSK Operations Centre
  • .
  • Review high-risk reconciliations, assess balance sheet health, and proactively manage risks and open items.
  • Support local statutory reporting and tax compliance in collaboration with external providers.
  • Contribute to
  • audit activities and group consolidation
  • , ensuring high-quality, timely deliverables.

  • Basic Qualifications:

  • (or equivalent professional experience).
  • 3 years of experience
  • in accounting, audit, or financial controlling.
  • Strong knowledge of

  • and reporting requirements.
  • Confidence in working in a
  • data-driven environment
  • , with a continuous learning attitude.
  • The ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders across geographies.
  • Fluency in English
  • at a professional business level.
  • Working model:
  • This role is hybrid. You will be expected to work from our Poland office regularly and be available for in-person collaboration.
