Our flagship product Procountor is the leading financial management solution in Finland, supporting tens of thousands of businesses with their daily financial operations. As Director of Engineering, you will play a key role in shaping how this business critical product is built, developed, and scaled.

Your mission?

As our Director of Engineering, you will take full ownership of the engineering function behind Procountor. Your focus is on execution, continuous improvement, and evolving how we build software at scale. You will lead an organization of +100 professionals, including Engineering Managers, architects, and software engineers, and be responsible for how the entire unit produces high quality code as efficiently and effectively as possible.

This is a role for a progressive product development leader who drives change, improves performance, and ensures that engineering delivers measurable business impact.

Your key tasks and responsibilities include:Owning the full software production model and continuously improving how engineering operates

Defining and evolving engineering practices, tools, competencies, and ways of working

Leading and developing managers and senior engineers while building a strong and accountable organization

Ensuring efficient and predictable delivery through modern development practices

Driving the evolution from a semi agile model toward a more modern and scalable operating model

Establishing, implementing, and continuously improving key performance
