Assignment Description

We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer

What You Will Work On

Design, build, and maintain scalable and reliable data pipelines

Develop and manage business-critical datasets for analytics and reporting

Optimize data infrastructure for performance, scalability, and maintainability

Architect backend systems handling large-scale data processing

Collaborate with Data Scientists, analysts, and stakeholders to translate business needs into data models

Drive improvements in data architecture, workflows, and engineering practices

Establish and promote best practices for testing, quality, and maintainability

Support and lead initiatives related to metrics, reporting, and analytics tools

Mentor and guide junior Data Engineers

What You Bring

Extensive hands-on experience designing and building scalable data pipelines

Strong experience with technologies such as Scala, SQL, dbt, and GCP (or similar)

Proven ability to architect backend systems for large data volumes

Deep understanding of cloud-based data infrastructure

Ability to translate complex business requirements into structured data solutions

Strong collaboration skills in cross-functional teams

Experience driving code quality, testing practices, and maintainability

Excellent communication skills with ability to influence and guide stakeholders

Experience mentoring or supporting other engineers
