What you’ll do
AstraZeneca is seeking a Medical Advisor to join our Medical Affairs team. This is a scientifically driven, outward-facing role for a medical affairs professional who enjoys combining strategic thinking with meaningful engagement across the healthcare ecosystem.
About the role
The Medical Advisor is a hybrid position, typically split 70% office-based and 30% field-based, responsible for developing and executing local medical strategy within a defined therapeutic area (TA). You will work closely with key external experts (KEEs), healthcare professionals (HCPs), healthcare organisations (HCOs), and patient advocacy groups to support clinical practice change, pre-launch readiness, and improved patient outcomes.
You will act as a scientific expert for AstraZeneca’s products and pipeline, translating clinical data into impactful, non‑promotional scientific exchange while feeding valuable insights back into cross‑functional decision-making.
This role operates primarily at country level, with possible involvement in Baltic-level initiatives depending on portfolio priorities.
