Mechanical Construction Manager
About this role
Enersense Engineering is currently seeking Mechanical Construction Managers to support our clients' Data Centre projects in several locations across Finland. We are hiring on a permanent basis and the work is set to start as soon as possible.
Main tasks and responsibilities:
Manage communication with the client
Prepare method statements and risk assessments for construction activities and ensure HVAC work meets project and safety requirements
Coordinate with the project team to schedule pipework installation according to the project timeline
Review the project at handover, manage procurement of equipment and subcontractors, and oversee technical purchasing
Assist in documenting and pricing scope changes and preparing monthly valuations and final accounts
Support the project schedule, including preparing a two-week look-ahead plan with the project team
Ensure sufficient labour resources are available according to the project schedule
Ensure all compliance and governance requirements are followed, especially:Site health and safety, ensuring subcontractors work safely
Identifying improvements to working methods to increase safety
Maintaining good housekeeping standards on site
Requirements
- Relevant mechanical qualification (e.g., Engineering degree, City & Guilds, HNC/BTEC, or NVQ)
- Experience in a similar role within a mechanical and electrical contracting environment is preferred
- Data Centre project experience is an advantage
- Good organisational, communication and time management skills
- Previous experience in Data Centre projects is mandatory
- Finnish language skills considered as a benefit
