About the role

We are looking for a Component Sourcing Manager to join ABB's Distribution Solutions procurement team in a newly established role. Due to rapid growth and increasing challenges in global component availability, you will play a key part in securing the continuity of production by ensuring the availability of electronic components across ABB's global supply chain.

While this role can be performed remotely from anywhere in Finland, most of your team is based in Vaasa, and occasional on-site presence (approximately once per month) is expected to support collaboration and team connection.

Work tasks

You will work as part of a procurement team and operate at the intersection of operational purchasing and strategic sourcing, coordinating multiple stakeholders including suppliers, distributors, brokers, R&D, and contract manufacturers worldwide. The role is operational in nature and requires daily hands-on coordination with stakeholders to resolve component shortages and keep production running.
