Turku School of Economics, Department of Marketing and International Business invites applications for the fixed term position of a Doctoral Researcher in Marketing starting from September 1, 2026.
The position may be granted for a maximum of two years based on the stage of the applicant's doctoral dissertation and postgraduate studies.
The doctoral researcher will work at the Department of Marketing and International Business at the Turku School of Economics. The department offers a multidisciplinary and international work environment, which combines ambitious research, high-quality teaching, and a good work atmosphere.
The objective of research conducted by the Marketing faculty is to benefit business and society by solving key marketing-related challenges in the rapidly changing and complex business environment. As a strategic function, marketing aims at creating value with the customer and other stakeholders. Research in the Marketing subject focuses on three core themes: 1) Dynamics of business markets; 2) Value-driven B2B marketing; and 3) Customer experience and journeys. Read more .

The position of a doctoral researcher is a postgraduate position. In addition to conducting doctoral dissertation research and postgraduate studies in the area of marketing, doctoral candidates will also be involved in tasks supporting teaching, such as planning and coordination of teaching in Marketing and some administrative tasks.
